Our annual User Group Meeting organised by Stago for all the UK/Ireland users of Stago systems was held this year in Newcastle.

We were pleased to welcome our UK and Irish customers (around 80 guests) for two days of sharing experience. The first half of the meeting was dedicated to scientific lectures discussing the latest developments in coagulation diagnosis: thrombin generation, monitoring of new anticoagulant drugs, but also the complexity of monitoring INRs, and we introduced an educational session with some case studies.
The second half of the meeting was more centred on improving the day-to-day use of our systems and reagents with the participation of our hotline department who gave an overview of the most frequently asked questions and an update on the new assays available.
As always, it was a good opportunity for the Stago UK team to meet and discuss with our customers in a relaxed atmosphere. It was also an occasion for users to meet and exchange on their daily experience.
Next Congress will be held in November 2011.
