With nearly 8,500 exhibitors (on about 400 stands), the AACC Congress is the largest trade show wholly dedicated to the market of the in vitro diagnostic industry. The tendency towards total automation of laboratories is now confirmed.
The Stago Group presented all the analyzers of the STA® line on its stand.
Visitors could discover the latest Stago innovations like CAT (analyser dedicated to the measurement of thrombin generation) and STA Coag Connexion®, a specialised software for managing and supervising Stago systems.
Stago also made a splash by organizing educational “Meet our Expert” sessions on its stand, around themes like Lupus diagnosis and how to monitor heparin treatments. Lastly, the evening of 27 July was the occasion to invite 150 of our American and Brazilian customers to the Atlanta Natural History Museum, where Dr Suzan Rathbun chaired a conference on D-Dimer.
The next congress will be held in Los Angeles, California from 15 to 19 July 2012.
The AACC (American Association for Clinical Chemistry) Congress attracted over 17,500 visitors from all over the world (99 different nationalities).
