Stago Group : Ethic and independent

Stago is a privately-owned family business and, as such, has no short term aims, only a long term goal, to be the best company partner at the heart of haemostasis. Founded on over 70 years of experience, Stago researches, develops, manufactures and distributes its products through a developing network of subsidiaries and remains in control of its strategy at all levels. This makes Stago unique amongst its competitors and is key to its global success.

As a dedicated and specialist company, Stago UK has the advantage of being small enough to give its customers outstanding flexibility, but large enough to provide a complete Haemostasis solution and support to any laboratory, from the largest NHS Hub to a small research laboratory. The demands upon laboratories and the health service are constantly changing and we are equally evolving to deliver, new products, greater efficiencies and the strong links with primary suppliers and other qualified providers to achieve the aims of Government reforms.

The Stago UK operation has changed significantly since its foundation  in 2005 and again following the acquisition in 2010 of the Tcoag business, formerly known as Trinity Biotech. This strategic acquisition placed Stago in an ideal position to develop a strong future in the UK, dealing with the ever-changing face of the National Health Service and other laboratory providers.

The key to our success in the UK is the dedication and commitment of the entire Stago team, whether that’s from customer service, field service, applications support, product management, the sales team or, of course, our hotline. Every one of our customers has a dedicated support team and, with all support functions cross-trained throughout Stago, you can be sure that one phone call will be all you need to get the right answers. Our aim is to support you, our customer, to achieve your goals, in a friendly and professional manner.
