Why we need Quantra in ECMO monitoring?
As part of Stago’s GOLD sponsorship, Dr Guillaume Hekimian from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of La Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris will be giving a talk during the main programme of the Society for Clinical Perfusion Scientists ' AGM on Saturday 12th November titled “ECMO and Haemostasis: Why we need Point-of-Care Viscoelastic Testing and our Experience with Quantra” about his team’s experience with Quantra in ECMO.

After Dr Hekimian’s talk during the main programme, we will run a workshop later in the afternoon titled “Quantra in ECMO monitoring: Clinical case studies and algorithm development workshop”. The workshop will cover the following:
- Quantra instrument demo
- Clinical case studies from the Intensive Care Unit at La Pitié-Salpêtrière ECMO centre in Paris
- Presentation on the centre’s proposed Quantra treatment algorithm for use in ECMO
